The Information of Ann Fenley< no role > taken on Oath the
Twentieth day of February 1788 before me one of his
Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex

Who on his Oath Saith that on or about Thursday the Tenth day of
January last believes it to be about seven or eight O'Clock in
the Evening, she then being at home in Cable street in the Parish
of Saint Mary White Chapel Five men came into the house and
asked for her husband, he then not being at home, she sent
for him to the Blacksmiths Arms in Church Lane , and
while the Servant was gone to fetch Informants husband
home each of the five men produced a piece of British
Callico four of them White and one printed Pink Stormont,
they then left the pieces in the house and three of the men
went out by her desire, telling them her husband would not
deal with more than two at one time, immediately then her
husband came home an bought the five pieces of the two
men who remained in the house whose names were
Briggs and Goldsmith for which pieces her husband paid
them three Guineas and ahalf
