Edward Fredway for himself saith That he was with
the other Informants at the time above stated and looked
thro' the hole of the door and saw the prisoner Margaret
set on a Chair facing the prisoner William and she then
got up put a Basket under the Bed and then She came
and opened the door He then went into the Room and observing
the prisoners William, Struggling with Beamish he laid
hold of him by the Right had and Freeman took out
of his Right hand a something which he saw afterwards
was a Counterfeit Six pence. The prisoner was then
asked which was his Bed he said next the door he then
asked a Woman who was in the Room which was the
prisoners bed who said the Bed Beamish had him upon
The Two prisoners were then taken away by Freeman
and Beamish and Meacham and himself began Searching
the Bed and the Room and by the side of the Bed were
found a large pair of Scissors and several other [..] tensils
which the prisoners acknowledged were their property
and upon pulling the Bed Cloaths of and turning the Bed
up and between the Bed and Sacking they found a piece
of Flatted Metal which Meacham Secured

George Meacham< no role > for himself saith That
he was with the other Informants at the time above
mentioned and assisted in Securing and Searching the prisoners
and the Apartment That he found by the bed side the
several [..] tensils now produced and between the Bed
and Sacking a piece of Flatted Metal also produced
all which the prisoners acknowledged to be their
property
