Jacob Freeman< no role > for himself saith That he was
with the other Informants and when he came to the
Room door he observed a Crack and upon looking
through it and seeing [..] the prisoner William Dwyre< no role >
Setting on the side of the Bed by the fire side
Rubbing something with his Right hand They were
going to break the door open but it was imediately
opened by Margaret Dwyre< no role > He went into [..]
Room and Seized the Woman but observing the
prisoner William Dwyre< no role > Strugling with Beamish
he let go the woman and Seized the Man by the
Right hand and took from him a Counterfeit
Six pence now produced at the same time he
dropped another That upon turning Round he saw the
Woman was Running away he Pursued her to the
Stairs and brought her back and found upon
her a Counterfeit Six pence He then delivered her
to Meacham and assisted Beamish and upon laying hold
of the prisoner William (who was then very Resolute)
he found close by his feet a pair of Pliars a Quantity
of Sand in some paper and a Cap which he threw down
with some thing in it and some salt in a Blue paper
and a Pitcher of Water which stood between his Legs and
which was thrown down on the Salt and other things
That upon seeing a Basket under the Bed he asked
to prisoner Margaret who it belonged toitshe said
it was her's and that there were nothing but Pins in it
but upon Searching the Basket he there found Four
Counterfeit Six pences and some other things. The
Prisoners were then Secured and taken to the Watchhouse
