Confinement he underwent under the Watch
House, according to the Evidence, during
such Inclement WeatherThat had the
deceased been kept in a Warm Room
this Examinant believes his Death might
not have happened so soon

Oath and Saith that on Saturday Last He
this Examinant opened the Body of Peter
Murrell
< no role > the deceasedthat upon examining
the StomachHardHeart and Brain of the deceased
it appears to this Examt. that excessive
drinking of Spiritious Liquors had nearly
destroyed his Constitution, that there was
not any other apparent Causes of the
death of the said Peter Murrell< no role > but
this Examinant is of Opinion that in
case the deceased died of excessive Cold
the Appearances on opening his Body
would have been the sameThat
this Examt. thinks it probable he might
have died in a Fit occasioned by excessive
Drinkingbut Saith that the Confinement
the deceased underwent in such a
Situation, for such Length of time and
in such Inclement Weather as is in
Evidence in this Case would be attended
with imminent Danger of Death to
almost any Person in case of falling
asleep in that Situation
