The Inormation of Sarah
Shields

of Sheffield Street Clare Market
taken before me this 8th. day of August
1787 .

Who being upon Oath Saith that about two oClock on
Monday afternoon the sixth Instant as she was going
up Stairs to lay her Child down in the Garrett she was
surprized to find the person now present who calls herself
Race Fitzpatrick< no role > therein That informant asked hat
what she wanted when she replied she wanted a Mrs.
Green a Mantua Maker That she desired said
Fitzpatick to walk down That informant went up
into said Garrett and found a Street now produced
which this Informant had left amongst some dirty
things in a Basket by the Window on a Chest near the
Garret door and the Linen gown now produced
which she had left in a Carravan box near the
Window thrown over a Line near the door and
that she is very sure that no person but the Prisoner
Fitzpatrick could have removed the said Gown
and Sheet from where she had put them
