The Information of Wm. Shepstone< no role > taken
before me this 24 day of July 1787

Who being on Oath says that on Sunday
Morning last about the Hour of three O Clock He this
Infor [..] met a Woman now present that a calls herself Eliz
zabeth Anderson< no role > who ask this Informant to go with Her
to her Lodging at the same time producing a Key say
[..] He would be very safe yt this informt. askd sd Woman
what He should give [..] that sd Woman agreed to be a
Shilling that they went to sd Womans Lodging in Old py [..]
Street in a two pair at Stairs Fore Room that sd Woman
took a Key out of Step poctett & opend the door of sd Room
and after this Inted & sd Woman went in sd Woman lockd ye
door [..] both went to Bed that this Infort counted his
Money a half Guinea & Eight Spillings & Six pence on
Silver in his Right hand [..] pockett put there
under his head that about an Hour afterward, he found
she framer at the Room door and a [..] where she was
[..] but would return again di-
rectly that in a [..] minutes after Colour came into sd
Room and sized out Walloo what Do you there that this Infort.
answered he came with Woman who told this Infort yt
it was Her Room sd Soldiers swore it was his Room
and if this Infor did not go dawn Stair directly he
would Bundle him down that this Infor got up &
Cooking Jas his Breeches found them or the Bed
his Money took out of their that upon dressing himself
he went down stair and soon after in a publick Room [..]
in peter Street (the two Blue Pock) saw the sd Woman
and sd Soldier drinking together that upon this [..]
Formant charging sd Woman with robbing of him [..]
desired it got away & that the said soldier beat [..]
& prevented this Infort getting She said Woman to be
taken in Custody
