Who being upon Oath say and first the said Edward

saith that about five o Clock this Evening as he was
standing with said William Shuffrey< no role >
in Catherine Street
he saw
a Person now present who calls himself Leonard Stone< no role >
bring
a Piece of Carpeting now produced out of his House, which said
piece of Carpeting is the property of him and of one Thomas Butler< no role >
The said William Shuffrey< no role >
says that he was with said Edward
Johnson< no role >
at this time in Catherine Street
, and upon seeing said
Leonard Stone< no role >
with the said piece of Carpet he pursued him and brought him
back to Mr Johnsons House, when he the said Leonard Stone< no role >
confessed that he had Stolen the same from said Edward Johnson< no role >
