taken before me this 6th. day of November 1786
Who being on Oath severally say and first the said George Mundin< no role >
for himself saith That the Prisoner now present and calling himself
Joseph Mander< no role >
came to this Informant on Wednesday last and offored
himself to his Service as a Journeyman Taylor
that Informant
accordingly employed him till last Saturday Night when he paid
him the Wage due to him That the Prisoner lodged in the same Horse
with this Informant That soon after he paid the Prisoner his aforesaid
Hagle Informant went to bed That about two o' Clock Yesterday
Morning Informant heard a noise in a Room near his Bed Chamber
That he got up and saw the Prisoner through a small Window
which looks into the Room where the Prisoner lodged That he saw
the Prisoner go into his Shop and suspecting from the Noise he
ward the Prisoner was taking something away he immediately
get up went into the Prisoners Room but not finding him there
he called out several times and not receiving any Answer from him
he alarmed the Landlord That he this Informant and the Landlord
went into the Shop and found the Window open and the property now
produced taken away And the said William Farror< no role >
for himself
saith that about two o' Clock Yesterday Morning he was alarmed
ley said Mundin and went to the Shop Window of Mundin where
he saw the bundle of Cloaths now produced hanging on a Pole and
the Prisoner standing by them That he this Informant took the
Bundle into the Room that he then went down Stairs opened the door
and let the Prisoner in who then declared to this Informant that the
bundle was his the Prisoner Property And the said William Peploe< no role >
for himself saith that the Shoes and upper Leathers now Produced
and found upon the Prisoner are his Property and were feloniously
taken from him and the said Susannah Potter< no role >
for herself saith
that on Tuesday Night last the Prisoner lodged at her House
