Middlesex to Wit

The Information of Moses Emanuel< no role > of Arrow Alley
Petticoat Lane in the City of London Dealer in
Cloaths taken before me this 21st. day of Janry 1785

Who being upon Oath says that between 9 and 10 o' Clock
in the Morning of Tuesday the eleventh instant, as he
going along Hopkins Street in the Gravel Pitts near Berwick
Street Soho , he was called to by a person now Present
who calls herself Ann Silcox who desired him to come
in and said she had Some Business for himThat he
went in, on which said Ann Silcox< no role > told him that John
Lucas
< no role > and Richard Summers< no role > alias Dick the Chimney Sweeper
now present and also John Waters< no role > and Johnwere
gone with a Quantity of Lace and Ribbon to a Mr. Pop
whom this Informant afterwards understood to be Moses Levy< no role >
of Winfield Street Spital fields in order to Sell the same,
but that there Still remained some of it in the House
That said Ann Silcox desired this Informant not to go
awayThat she then endeavoured to find the Key of the
one pair of Stairs fore Roomnoin which Room the Said
Lace and Ribbon were as she told this Informant
that said Ann Silcox desired this Informant not to go
away for tho' she could not find the Key, yet she
expected said Lucas, Summers, Waters andback
SoonThat in about half an hour afterwards Judith
Levy
< no role > Wife of the said Moses Levy< no role > and Frances< no role > her Daughter
cameinwith the said John Waters< no role > into the fore Room on
the Ground Floor of said John Lucas< no role > 's House in Hopkins
