were accordingly measured by the said Moses Levy< no role > Judith Levy< no role >
and this InformantThat said Waters asked two Shillings and Six
pence a Dozen for the said Ribbon one sort with anotherThat said
Moses Levy< no role > said he could not afford to give them two Shillings
and Six pence a Dozen, but would give them two Shillings a Dozen
that the said Johnreplied they should not go under two
shillings and three pence a Dozen which said Moses Levy< no role > and
Judith Levy< no role > agreed to, and paid the Sum of Six pound nineteen
Shillings for the same, to the said WatersThat said Lucas,
Summers, Waters andthen were going to take
the Lace away, when said Waters said that as they had bought
one part, they should have the other, observing that it would be
better not to carry the said Lace along the Street again for fear
of a downThat said Moses Levy< no role > said he would not give them
more than forty Guineas for itThat said Waters said he Should
have itThat said Moses Levy pulled a Paper out of his Pocket
containing Thirty nine Guineas and asked his Wife if she had got
any Moneythat she took a Guinea out of a Nutmeg Grater
which she gave to her Husband who paid the said Forty Guineas
to said WatersThat during the time of making the Agreement for
said Lace and Ribbons their Informant observed that as many
difficulties arose between them she had nather go away and
have nothing to do with it That said Waters Stood at the
Door with drawn Cutlass and swore that nobody should either
come in or go out, for that there should be no trapping Works
hereThat during the aforesaid Transaction said Waters and
observed that as it was done in King Street and so
near Bow Street they did not doubt but that there would be
Hand Bills out immediately and that it was therefore necessary
to be as expeditions as possibleThat it was then agreed between
said Judith Levy and this Informant to carry said Lace to
