ringing a second time the person who was with Informant
and held the Hat over her face pulled her went out of the
Parlor locked the door on the Outside. So that she was then
Confused therein. That the said three men then went
away but whether backwards or Forwards or in what
manner She cannot tell, And this Informant further
Saith that in about five or six Minutes after they were
gone finding she could not get out of the door she got out of
the Window into a Yard, opened the Passage door and went
to the Street door which she found Bolted both at Top and
Bottom which gave Informant reason to apprehend they
had gone out Backwards. That upon her Opening the door
She found James Ball< no role > (a Porter belonging to her Master) standing
there and told him there was Thieves in the House
who went into the house and came out afterwards when an
Alarm being given several persons went in and Searched the
house, but found no person therein as she has been Informed
and verily believes, Lastly Saith that the person who
first held the hat over her face did not continue so to do
the whole time, for on her being asked by one of the men
not know whether there was any in the house or not
One of the men sayed to him that Confined Informant &
held the Hat over her face. "You hold her and I will
go and find the Money". and that the man who then
held her quitted her. andtheanother of the said two
men came and held her and Staid with her until they
all ment away.
