The Information of Elizabeth< no role > the Wife of John Collison< no role >
of that Stratford in the County of Essex Labr . and Thomas
Mallard
< no role > of the same place Coach Master Labr.taken this 8th. day
of January 1785

Who being on their Oath say and first the said Elizabeth Cellison< no role >
for herself saith that this afternoon about five o'Clock she
delivered to the other Informant Thomas Mallard< no role > the Basket
now produced Containing one Leg of Mutton one Neck of Mutton
three Pounds of Cheese four Pounds of Butter one Quarter of a
Pound of Tea three Pounds Weight of Sugar one old Linen
Apron and a Linen Clout [..] That the said Thomas Mallard< no role >
Put the same into the Boot of his Coach then being in White
Chapel High Street in Order to be carried to Stratford
and that the said Basket and the contents thereof are
the Property of her Husband John Collison< no role >

And the said Thomas Mallard< no role > for himself saith that he
received the aforesaid Basket from the said Elizabeth
Collison
< no role > and put the same in the Boot of his Coach
as aforesaid Saith that within the Space of five
Minutes afterwards he this Informant saw the person
now present go to the Boot of this Informants Coach
and take out the said Basket and run off with
the same Saith that he followed the said
Person and caught him near the End of Petticoat's
Lane he then having the said Basket in his Hand
which he Dropped and he this Informant immediately
took possession thereof and gave Charge of the
said Person to a Peace officeranthe said Person
says his Name is John Hart< no role > , lastly Saith that
the Basket containing the provisions now prod [..]
is the same that was Stolen out of the Bo [..]
his said Coach by the said John Hart< no role > as [..]
