he made another blow at the person who lay on the Ground
and struck a something which he then heald in his
hands (and which this Informant believes to be an Iron
Crow now Produced) with such violence as to occasion a
Dent [..] in his Hick at which Instant she other person who was standing
by fired a Pistol at Informant the Ball of which
Whitled by his Ear but did him no further Injury
Saith That the person who wasthemon the Ground then got up
and they both Endeavored to make their Escape but
being Closely pursued by Informant (who called out Stop Thief) into the Butcher
Row where Informant fell down when one of them Turned
back white the other went into Brook Street. when he that
ran towards and in Brook street was secured lent the
other made his Escape.And this Informant further
Saith that Soon after the person who ran towards Brook
Street was secured he came up when Informant Searched
him and upon such Search found [..] the Pistol now
produced primed and Loaded, That they then secured
him in the Watch House. and Informant went with
the said Hall to the place where he knocked the man
down as above Set forth and found and which was [..] Pistol loaded and the
Crow now produced on the Ground, And this Informant
further saith that the prisoner now here present and who
calls himself John Brice< no role > is one of the two men who came
out of the Garden of the said Messrs. Hicks and Harriot
and is the person he knocked down and on whom
was found the Loaded Pistol. he having known him
some time before,
