The Information of John Price< no role > of
High Street in the Parish of Saint Giles
in the fields Ironmonger Taken the 3rd.
day of November 1783

Who upon his Oath saith That about she
hour of Nine o Clock on Saturday night last as
he was crossing the Street in going to the Two Brewer
Alehouse in High Street aforesaid he saw the
Prisoner who says his Name is John Fendlow< no role >
(and who this Informant has seen looking about
High Street aforesaid very frequently) Snatch a
Bundle from a Woman who says her Name is
Ann Roots< no role > and immediatly Ran away That
this Informant Called out Stopp [..] Thief
and the Prisoner now Taken into Custody
That he saw the prisoner Drop Three Shirts
from the Bundle he had taken away as aforesaid
which said Shirts new Produced are the Identical
Shirts
