The Information of John Bonds< no role > Susannah Bonds< no role >
Mary Bonds< no role > , Charles Jealons< no role > and Dennis Mc. Daniels< no role >
taken before me this 17th, day of Novemr,, 1783.

Who on their Oath say and first the said John Bond< no role > says that a
Purse now produced, he verily believes to be his Wifes Purse and
which he this Informant Bought for her in the Year 1781. And
the said Susannah Bonds< no role > says that between 4 & 5 o'Clock on
Saturday Evening last near the 7 Mile Stone on the Edgware Read She and her Daughter
were robbed by two Highwaymen vizt this Informant of a Purse
containing one Dollar. four Quarter Dollars and other Money
That a Purse now produced, she verily believes to be the same
Purse of which she was robbedThat two Quarter Dollars now
produced, she verily believes to be Two of the Dollars of which
she was robbed and does likewise believe that Person now
present who calls himself James Roberts< no role > in one of the
Highwaymen who Robbed her as aforesaid. And the said
Mary Bond< no role > says, She was robbed at the same time of a Purse
containing four Counters. and does verily believe that the said
James Robert< no role > is the Person who Robbed her. And the said Charles
Jealons says that he apprehended the said James Roberts< no role > a has York Yesterday
morning at a House in Princes Street Saint James's, in Bed with Ruth
Mercer
< no role > now present; in whose Apartments he found the Boots & Spurs now
produced and two Quarter Dollars now produced he found in said Roberts's
Right Breeches pocket, as well as other Money now produced And the
said Dennis Mc< no role > . Daniel says that the Purse now produced he found
in the said Ruth Mercey< no role > 's Pocket, and the Paper with Powder now
produced he found in one of said Roberts's Waistcoat Pockets.
