Who being upon Oath say, and first the said
Thomas Rhodes< no role >
says that last Night about 6 o Clock he saw
a person now present who calls himself Charles Mann< no role >
come from this Informants Cart in Bainbridge Street St. Giles's
with a Quantity of Granis in a BasketThat he
laid hold of him by the Collar and delivered him to
the said Joseph Warner< no role >
The said Thomas Murray< no role >
says that
last Night about 6 o Clock he this Informant saw said
Charles Mann< no role >
take from out of said Thomas Rhode< no role >
's
last the said [..] GrainsThat the said Thomas Rhodes< no role >
called to this Informant (at which time the said Thomas
Rhodes< no role >
had said Charles Mann< no role >
in Custody) and desired him to
aid and assist himThat he this Informant observed to
him that the said Joseph Warman< no role >
was by, and was a Constable
on which said Warman was charged with himThat
said Warman then seized hold of him and took him into
Custody when another person now present who calls
himself Thomas Stocker and a Number of other Persons
rescued said Mann out of his CustodyAnd the said Joseph
Warman< no role >
for himself says that he is a Constable of the
parish of Saint Pancrasthat he took the said Charles Mann< no role >
into Custody by the Direction of the said Thomas Rhodes< no role >
in Bainbridge Street aforesaid at which time he had
