James Hatch< no role > of the Parish of St Mary Stratford [..]
on the County of Middlesex Esquire maketh Oath and saith
that in the Month of June last he this Deponent receives
a Summons to Attend as Juryman on the Grand Inqu [..]
at Westminster Hall in the County of Middlesex and
that he did accordingly then and there attend and
served on the said Jury the whole time being three days
And this Deponent further saith that in the Month of
September last he this Deponent received another in
Summons to attend as a Juror at Justice Hall in the
Old Bailey But this Deponent neglected to read
the same imagining it was of course for Hick's
Hall where this Deponent had before been summoned
for (but never for Justice Hall) And sent the same
to Mr. Jones one of the Magistrates for the County of
Middlesex requesting that he would get him excused
having so lately served on the Grand Inquest

And this Deponent further saith that had this
Deponent read the said last Summons as aforesaid
He this Deponent would have paid Obedience
thereto and requested the Indulgence of the Court
to be excused having served on the Grand Inquest
in the Preceding Month of June as aforesaid.
