Severally make Oath And first the
Deponent John Hart< no role >
for himself saith that John Lewis< no role >
of
Bennet Court Drury Lane
in the County of Middlesex
Cork eatter is a Material Witness for him this Deponent in
this Prosecution and that he cannot safely try this
Indictment without the benefit of his testimony And this
Deponent James Howson< no role >
for himself Saith that he did
on the twenty third day of April last go to the House of
Mrs. Ann Oseland at No. 9 Bennet Burt aforesaid
where he was informed the said John Lewis< no role >
lodged in
order to enquire for and serve him with the Subpoena
hereunto annexed And further saith that he this
Deponent was thereupon informed by Jane Benning< no role >
the Servant of the said Ann Oseland that the said John
Lewis< no role >
set out for Hallifax in Yorkshire the day before
being the Twenty Second day of April last to see his Father
who he had heard was dangerously ill and that they did
not expect him to return for three weeks or a Mouth
