The Information of Hannah Langston< no role > Widow
of Kings head Court Rose Lane in the Parish of
Christ Curch Middlesex Weaver and [..] Lewis
PhillipsStipe
< no role > of the same place [..] Victualer taken this
14 day of March 1783

Who being on Oath say and first the said Hannah Langston< no role >
sayth That this day at noon she went into a public
house in Rose Lane aforesaid to Dine that a Linen
Bag containing 30 Stains of worsted which she
had Little Time before reed of her Master to
Work the laid on a Table in the tap Room
and whilst she went to the fire to warm
her beer a person took the said Bundle and
went away with it That the Land lord
Informed her a Man had gone out with
such a Bag under his Arm that She
this Informant. the said one Francis Phillips< no role > Went
out to Look for the person so described and
about Five o Clock met with the Prisoner at the
Coach & Horses Whitechapel Road with part of a Bag now
Produced which she is positive is part of the same bag which
she put on the Table at the house aforesaid Lewis
Stipe of the same place Victualer sayth that about [..]
between One & Two o Clock he saw the Prisoner who says
his name is Robert Johnson< no role > go out of his House with [..]
[..] at which time it was full of something. that when
Hannah Langston< no role > missed the said Bag he fully described him
to her
