London Salesman upon his Oath Saith
That on Thursday Evening last this Deponent spent
the Evening at the Nags Head with his Club
That the deceased was there-That after the deceased
had sat there about Two Hours as near as Informant
can recollect the deceased Left the RoomThat
the Landlord (Mr Wildman) Came up into the Room
andsaiddesired the Witness and Mr Singleton and
Mr Edmonds who wereinthen together would come
down Stairs For that the deceased and Whitehead
were going to BlowsThat they all went down
Stairs into the Tap Room where the deceased and
White head were in CompanyThat the deceased
used very opprobrious Language to Whitehead And
said he would Lick himThat White head shewed
the deceased his hand which was lorapt in a Cloth and
told the deceased he could not Lick him if he was sober
That they then continued quiet for a few Minutes
when Vanderplank again received the Quarrell by
telling Whitehead he could and would Lick him-That they then
fell to Blows But Informant cannot very who
struck first-ThattheInformant endeavoured to
part them and got the deceased Away-That on
Whiteheads's Saying "where is your Banderplank"
the deceased got away from Informant and attacked
Whitehead Again And they [..] both soon afterwards
fellThat the [..] witness imagined the deceased fell
