Morning, and sat upon the Deced's Bedside
That he had not been there above five or
six Minutes when the Officers from Bow
Street came there, and some time after carried
the Deced in a Coach to Bow Street .

Surgeon on his Oath saith, That on Wednesday
Evening last about Eight o'Clock Mr. Justice
Wright sent to Dept. desiring him to go
to Examine a Man at the Brown Bear
in Bow Street upon which he went
and saw the Deced who had a Wound
in his Right Breast, Says that the
Deced Spit Blood, had great Difficulty in
Breathing, attended with a Fever, and
Dept. thought by the Symptoms that Deced
could not live many days, Says that he
told Deced that he could not live long
and asked him if he would Confessed [..]
the wound was reced, to which he answer'd
that he was shot out of a Waggon and
the Person was above him, Says that
he attended the Deced who died on Friday
Morning the Eighth Instant at the Brown
Bear in the Parish of St. Paul Covent Garden
Says that he this day opened the Body
and found the Ball had Passed through
the [..] [..] Lobe of the Lungs, and that the
Deced's death was occasioned by the wound
abovementioned, which appeared to
have been given by a Pistol Ball.
