The Information of Ann Evers< no role > of Princes Court
Hodge Lane Midwife and Henrietta Evers< no role > her
Daughter taken before me this 17th: day of
January 1781.

Who being on Oath say and first the said Ann Evers< no role > for herself
says that on Saturday evening last between 7 and 8 o'Clock [..]
a Person now present who calls herself Jane Vincent< no role > (with two
other Woman in her company came to this Informants Lodging
in Princes Court Hodge Lane and requested this Informant would
go with them to deliver a Woman in labour That when they
came to the top of Long Acre this Informant asked them
"where the Woman was" when they replied "that she was only
at the next Turning" That they led this Informant into a
Room or Parlour near the bottom of Newtons Lane, where
she found a Woman lying on a bed, That they requested this
Informant to examine her which she did and informed then
"that she was not with Child"-when said Jane Vincent< no role >
and the other two Woman beat and bruised her in a Violent
Manner and robbed her of a pair of Silver Shoe Buckles one
Shoe, one Guinea, two Gold Rings, & a Hussiff containing a
pair of Gold Ear Rings a Half Crown and four Shillings.
That the Woman who pretended to be in Labour lay Still
during this time and did not aid or Assist them in the
robbery. That after the said Jane Vincent< no role > and her two Companies
had so beat and robbed this Informant, they ran away
and left this Informant in said Room And the
