in the Parish of St Mary le bone in the said County, Master Butcher ,
Margaret Vialls< no role > , (his Wife ) [..]

street in the said Parish and dunty, Butcher , James Ayers< no role > ,a Coach
Wheeler , at No. 9 in Fisher Street near Red Lion Square Robert

No. 48 in Newman Street , in the Parish of St Mary le bone , taken upon Oath this
3d day of Decemr. 1775 before us, Two of his Majesty's Justices of the peace for ye said County,
[..] and Liberty

Who being Severally upon their respective Oaths; And first, This
Informant Benjamin Vialls< no role > , upon his said oath declareth and Saith,
that Last Night, (being Saturday the Second of December instant
1775, he was at his shop in Oxford Market where about Eleven
o'Clock at Night, he was Alanned by the other Informant
Margaret Vialls (his Wife) coming to him and telling him
That his House had been broke open, and Robbed, upon
which he went directly home, And upon his Examining
he found that the House had been broke open, and Entered
at the Back Parlour Window by the breaking of a Pane
of Glass and Unscrewing of a Screw, by which the Sash
was fastened down, Which Sash Window he found open
and the broker Glass lying Without and some within
the said Room, And upon Examining further, this Informant
found, That a Matrogony Bureau which Stood in his fore
Parlour, had been broke open, And many of his Papers
which were in the said Bureau were Scattered about
some upon the Floor, & Some about the Bureau, And
that a Bank Note of the Value of Thirty Pounds, together
with some Money both Gold and Silver and likewise
a Chrystal Stone Sleeve Studd Set in Silver, had been
taken and Carried Away. And this Informant further saith,
That he doth Verily believe The Bank note of Thirty
Pounds now produced, to the Bank Note which was
taken and Carried away but of his Bureau as aforesaid. And
does likewife believe That the Two Guineas in Cold, and
Thirty Six Shillings and Six pence in Silver Also produced,
was taken and Carried Away out of this Bureau as aforesaid
And this Informant is positive and certain that the Chrystal
Stone Sleeve Studd set in Silver, Now produced is his property,
And was taken and Carried away out of his said Bureau, at
