And concerning the Premisses aforesaid Say upon their Oath that the
said John Watson< no role > otherwise called William Davies< no role > is Guilty of the
Felony in the Indictment aforesaid above Specified and Charged
upon him as above in manner and form as by the said Indictment
above against him is supposed And that heat the time of the Committing
the said Felony or at any time since had no Goods or Chattels Lands or
Tenements to the Knowledge of the said Jurors and upon this it is
required by the said Court here of the sad John Watson< no role > otherwise
called William Davies< no role > if he hath or knows of any thing to say for himself
why the Court [..]
thereof against him upon the Conviction aforesaid which said John Watson< no role >
otherwise called William Davies< no role > saith nothing except as he had before
said Whereupon all and Singular the premisses bing seen and
fully Understood by the Court here It is Considered and adjudged by
the Court here that he the said John Watson< no role > otherwise called William
Davies
< no role > be Hanged by the Neck until he be Dead And afterwards (to wit)
At the Delivery of the Kings said Gaol of Newgate holden for the
said County of Middlesex at Justice Hall in the Old Bailey in the Suburbs
of the City of London on Wednesday the Twenty fifth day of April in the
Tenth Year of the Reign of our said Lord the King Before William
Beckford

one of the Barons of our said Lord the King of his Court of Exchequer Sir

Eyre Esquire Recorder of the said City Sir Henry Bankes< no role > Knight one other
of the Aldermen of the said City Richard Pears< no role > Esquire one other of the
Aldermen of the said City James Rosseter< no role > Esquire on other of the
Aldermen of the said City and others their Fellows Justices of our said
Lord the King Assigned to deliver the said Gaol of our said Lod the
King of Newgate of the Prisoners therein being Cometh the said John Watson< no role >
otherwise called William Davies< no role > under the Custody of James Townsend< no role >
Esquire and John Sawbridge< no role > Esquire Sheriff of the said County of
Middlesex into whose Custody he had been before Committed and is
brought to the Bar here in his proper person by the said Sheriff And
our said Lord the King having been Graciously Pleased to extend his
Royal Mercy to the said John Watson< no role > otherwise called William Davies< no role >
Upon Condition of Transportation for and during the Term of his
Natural Life and such the Royal Pleasure of our said Lord the
King having been Signified to the said Last mentioned Justices and Court
here by the Right Honourable Thomas Thynne< no role > Viscount Weymouth
one of the Principal Secretaries of State of our said Lord the King
(according to the Statute in that behalf) The said John Watson< no role >
otherwise called William Davies< no role > is asked by the Court here whether he doth
consent and Agree to accept the Mercy of our said Lord the King upon the
Condition aforesaid And he the said John Watson< no role > otherwise called William Davies< no role >
doth now here consent and Agree thereunto Whereupon it is Ordered by the
Court now here that the said John Watson< no role > otherwise called William Davies< no role > be
Transported as soon as Conveniently may be to some of the Colonies and Plantations of our said Lord the King in
America for the Term of his Natural Life Pursuant to the form of the Statute in
such Case made and Provided.
