Middlesex

The Information of Robert Britten< no role > taken upon
Oath before us two of His Majestys Justices of
the Peace for the said County of Middlesex this
twenty eighth Day of October One thousand seven
hundred and Seventy five

This Informant saith that he went this Day with Joseph
Barber
< no role > to the House of one Ann Hanbury< no role > of Wentworth
Street in the Parish of Christ Church Spitalfields to
search for Tools and Instruments used in Coining That
upon entering the same he saw the said Ann Hanbury< no role >
and a Woman who now says her Name is Sarah Mason< no role > and
a Man who now says his Name is James Wood< no role > in the
Foreroom That the said Joseph Barber< no role > took hold of a
Crucible which Stood in the Window and two Bottles of
Liquid and delivered the same to him this Informant
That the said Joseph Barber< no role > then called to one George
Forrester
< no role > and told him that a Man and Woman
were making their Escape through a Window in the
Room Adjoining whereupon the said George Forrester< no role >
ran into the said Room but the said Man and Woman
were got through the said Window into a Yard before he
could lay Hold of them where upon the said George Forrester< no role >
followed them out of the said Window and took the said
Woman (who now says her Name is Catherine Henry< no role > ) and
brought her back into the said Room and lastly this
Informant saith he saw in the House of the said Ann Hanbury< no role >
a Quantity of Base Metal two Iron Flashs or Moulds and
Screws Moulded with Sand two Crucibles and divers others
Tools and utensils used in Coining.
