Premisses Which said Indictment the said Justices of the Peace
Afterwards (to wit) At the Delivery of the Kings Gaol of Newgate
holden for the County of Middlesex at Justice Hall in the Old Bailey
in the Suburbs of the City of London on Wednesday the sixth day of
September in the Ninth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
George the Third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and
Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth Before Samuel
Twiner

one of the Barons of our said Lord the King of his Court of Exchequer
Edward Willes< no role > Esquire one of the Justice of our Said Lord the King
Assigned to hold Pleas before the King himself Robert Alsop< no role > Esquire
one of the Aldermen of the said City of London Sir Robert Kite< no role > Knight
one other of the Aldermen of the said City James Eyre< no role > Esquire Recorder
of the said City Sir Henry Bankes< no role > Knight one other of the Aldermen
of the said City Brass Crosby< no role > Esquire one other of the Aldermen of
the said City James Townsend< no role > Esquire one other of the Aldermen of
the saud City and others their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the
King Assigned to deliver the said Gaol of our said Lord the King of
Newgate of the Prisoners therein being by their proper hands do
deliver here in Court of Record in form of Saint to be determined

And thereupon at the same Delivery of Gaol of our said Lord
the King of Newgate aforesaid holden for the County aforesaid Justice
Hall aforesaid on the said Wednesday the said sixth day of September
in the Year aforesaid before the said Justices of our said Lord the King
last above Named and others their Fellows aforesaid cometh the said

Thomas Hallifax< no role > Esquire and John Shakespear< no role > Esquire Sheriff of
the County aforesaid in whose Custody in the Gaol of Newgate aforesaid
for the Cause aforesaid he had been before Committed being brought to the
Bar here in his proper person is Committed to the said Sherriff Etc. and forthwith
Concerning the premisses in the said Indictment above Specified and charged
upon him as above being asked in what manner to would be Acquitted thereof
the said John Watson< no role > otherwise called William Davies< no role > saith that he is not
Guilty thereof and concerning this for good and ill he putteth himself upon
the Country Therefore let the Turst hereupon Immediately come
before the said Justices of our said Lord the King last abovenamed
and others their Fellows Justices aforesaid here and who are of no Affinity
to the said Ann Watson< no role > otherwise called William Davies< no role > to Recognize upon their Oath whether the said John Watson< no role > otherwise called william Davies< no role > is Guilty of the
Felony aforesaid in the said Indictment above Specified or not And the
Jurors of the said Jury by the said Sheriff to this purpose Impannalled
and returned (to wit) John Clarke< no role > John Wetherall< no role > William Bacon< no role > Luke
