before me this 18th. day of October 1775
Who being upon Oath say and first the said William Ivers< no role >
for himself says that on Friday Evening last a little after 7
o'Clock he was robbed a little beyond the 4 Mile Stone on
the Edgeware Road
of two shillings in Money by two Footpads
that he gave Information of the same at a Public house
at Kilburn from whence some persons went with him
and they apprehended John Maguire< no role >
and William Wenter< no role >
now present about 300 or 400 yards from the place where
this Informant was robbed, that he does verily believe
from the Voice and Appearance of the said John Maguire< no role >
the said John Maguire< no role >
is one of the persons who robbed
this Informant as above mentioned, and he said Edward
Turner< no role >
for himself says that he was present at the
apprehending of the said John Maguire< no role >
and William Wenter< no role >
and that he went the next Morning to the place where they
were apprehended and there found a Pistol now produced
and the said William Barnett< no role >
for himself says that
he went with the Said Edward Turner< no role >
and others last
Saturday Morning upon the Edgeware Road
and found
the other Pistol now produced near the Place where
he was told the said John Maguire< no role >
and William Wenter< no role >
were apprehended
