The Information of John Henderson< no role >
Servant to Thomas Jones< no role > 's Linen Draper
in Oxford Street No. [..] 70
taken before me one of his Majestys
Justices of the peace for the said
County.

Who being upon Oath saith that about four oClock
on Saturday afternoon last this Informant being
in the Shop of his said Master a Man unknown
to this Informant told him that a Woman meaning
the person now present who calls herself Margaret
Spencer
< no role > had taken a Bundle off Nankeen off the
Shop Window this Informant went & Card hold of
the said Margaret Spencer and found-four pieces
of Nankeen under her Ann covered by her Cloak and
a Bundle [..] Containing ten pieces of Nankeen in her
hand And saith that the said Margaret Spencer
was at the Shop Door when this Informant
apprehended her where the said Man had brought
her that the fourteen pieces of Nankeen new
produced are the property of his Master and [..]
were taken from the said Margaret Spencer at this
time & in the manner abovementioned
