And this Deponent Attended again on the next day Saturday
from between Eight and Nine o'Clock in the Morning till Two in
the Afternoon and also again on the Monday following when this
Deponent was informed that the said prisoner had been Discharged on
the Friday proceeding And this Deponent hath since been informed his
said Recognizance was Ordered to be Estreated by this Honourable Court
for his not Attending to prosecute the said prisoner and this Deponent
saith that such Neglect was entirely occasioned by the means aforesaid
and not through any favour or Affection or for any Reward or the hope
or promise thereof nor through any other motive whatsoever therefore
this Deponent (who is very poor and has been ill for a long time) humbly
prays this Honourable Court will be pleased to Order his said Recognizance
to be Discharged.
