Thos. Parr< no role > for Felony

Richard Rylands< no role > of Red Lyon Street in the
Parish of Saint George the Martyr in the County of Middlesex
Shoemaker Maketh Oath and saith that on or about the Third day
of August last this Deponent was bound by Recognizance in the
penal sum of Forty pounds each Upon Condition that he this
Deponent should prosecute Thomas Parr< no role > at the then next Session for
Feloniously Stealing a Silver Watch his property and this Deponent
saith that on Wednesday the Seventh day of September last this
Deponent went to Hicks Hall in Saint John Street and there preferred
a Bill of Indictment against the said Thomas Parr< no role > for the said Felony
and gave his Evidence thereon before the Grand Jury and this Deponent
saith that he attended at the Sessions house in the old Bailey on the
next day Thursday from between Nine and Ten o' Clock in the
Morning till about Two in the afternoon when this Deponent
being informed there would be no prisoners Tried but these that were
on the List and the said Thomas Parr< no role > 's Name not being on the List
this Deponent went House and attended again the next Morning
between Eight and Nine o' Clock and stay'd until about Two in the
afternoon but this Deponent not seeing the said Thomas Parr< no role > 's Name
on the List he enquired of the Constables who were attending about the
said Sessions House whether there would be anymore prisoners Tried
than what were on the List who informed this Deponent there would
not and this Deponent being entirely ignorant of Matters of that
kind and never having attended any Sessions before he believed what the
Constables say'd to be true apprehending they know and would truly
inform him what was proper to be done therefore this Deponent went horne
