before me this 11th. day of October 1774

Who being upon Oath says that about a fortnight ago Mary
Fossett< no role > now present brought to him a Bank Note of the
value of one hundred pounds now produced No. B payable to
Mr. Apsley Brett< no role > or Bearer dated 13th. day of Septr. 1774, that he got the
said Note changed at he Bank wrote his Name on it brought
the Cash to the said Mary Fossett< no role > and she gave him three Guineas
for his Trouble, that the said Mary Fossett< no role > dined with him and
his Wife of Flounders & drank Beer with them
