before me this 26th. day of September 1774

Who being upon Oath says that on Monday the 29th. day
of AugustInstantlast as he was returning from Barnett Fair to London
in a Cart with his Son, he was robbed on Finchley Common of
twenty six Guineas in Money by four Highwaymen, and
further says that John Giles< no role > now present it one of the
persons who robbed this Informant as aforesaid
