The Information of George Smith< no role >
Henry Wright< no role > and Mary< no role > Wife of
John Green< no role >
taken before Us two of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for the said
County City and Liberty

Who being severally upon Oath say and first this
Informant George Smith< no role > for himselfthat her
Saith that he is the Governor or Keeper of Tothill fields
Bridewell in the City and Liberty of Westminster
that on the Tenth day of September last he received
into his Custody a person now present who calls
himself William Lems Under or Warrant of
Committment of George Reid< no role > [..]
[..] of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for the said City and Liberty on a Charge of
Forging two Drafts the one for the payment of the
Sum of Fifteen pounds the other of Forty eight
pounds eighteen Shillings [..] under
a Warrant detainer [..] by the said [..]
George Reid< no role > Esqmore and also of George Mercer< no role > Esquire two of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace bearing date the 13th. day of September 1774
and the said William Lewis< no role > remained in this Informt
Custody untill the 13th. of October instant that about
Eight o Clock in the Evening he was Informed
by the other Informant Henry Wright< no role > who is the
Turnkey at the said prison that the said William
Lewis
< no role > had escaped out of the said prison in Woman
Cloaths
And this Informant Henry Wright< no role > for himself
saith that he is Turnkey at the said Prison
called Tothill fields Bridewell and had the Case
of the Gate of the said Prison on the Thirteenth
of October instant. that between three and four
o Clock in the afternoon of the same day he saw
