Joseph Girdler< no role > Esqr one of His
Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and
for the said County of Middlesex
this 20th. Day of September 1774

This Informant upon his Oath saith that
on Thursday Night last being the 15th. of this
Instant September aboutofthe Hour of Ten
he was feloniously assaulted upon the Kings
Highway by Two Persons who call themselves
by the Names of William Pritchard< no role > , and
John Conner< no role > near Grays Inn Lane in the
Parish of Sr. Pancras in the said County putting
him in Fear of his Life by Cutting his wearing
apparell and Bruising him, and demanding
of Him his Money or they would take away his
Life if he refused to give it them
