Middlesex To wit

The Information of Thomas Holdaway< no role >
taken before me this 17th day of Decemr.
1772.

Who being upon Oath says that he knows Christopher Lawless< no role >
and Thomas Plunkett< no role > , says that on a Saturday about Six
or seven Weeks ago the said Lawless and Plunkett came
to the three tuns in Woods Close about 9 o Clock at night
with two horses which they employed this Informant
to carry home viz one to the Pewter Platter in St John
Street , the other to the Nags head in Leather Lane that one
was a crop Eard horse, the other not, Says that on the
Monday following they employed this Informant to
hire them two horses, that they were going to see Lawless
Wife at Brentford , Says that he hired two horses for
them at the Nags head in Leather Lane which two
horses they kept out for a Week altho this Informant
hired them but for one day; says they were two
brown horses
