Westminster } The Information of James Watson< no role >
taken before Us two of his Majesty's
Justices of the peace for the said County
City and Liberty

Who being upon Oath saith that last Night
he met with a person now present who calls herself
Lydia Ivory at a publick House and agreed to lay
together all night in order to which this Informant
went with the said Lydia Ivory< no role > to her Lodgings
in Pinnock Shoot Browns Gardens St. Giles
and gave her two Shillings to buy something for
Supper and some drink that the said Lydia Ivory< no role >
called a Girl & sent her for a Pot of hot & a pot of Beer
which the Girl soon after brought & went away that
while the Girl was gone for the Liquor the said Lydia
Ivory
< no role > went & bought something to dat & left this
Informant alone that during her absence he examined
her Money & found one Guinea & a half in Gold four
Shillings in Silver & Seven pence half penny in Copper
which he put at together in a Bit of Linen Cloth &
put it into his Breeches pocket. that the said Lydia
Ivory soon returned to this Informant when after
Supper they went to Bed when this Informant put
his Breeches under his pillow for Security thatabout
this Informant awaked in the Night & found his
Breeches were removed a little from the place where
he had put them but Imagining such removal might
accidentally have happend took no Notice thereof &
went to sleep again that upon awaking this Morning
about Seven o'Clock this Informant found In & Breeches
had been to tally removed from under his head & placed
about the Middle of the Bed between him & the said
Lydia Ivory< no role > & upon this Informants Examining
of them found all the Money had been taken out of the
Bit of Linen Cloth and the One Guinea & a half in
Gold stolen the four Shillings & seven pence half penny
remaining loose in the pocket And this Informant
further saith that these was no other person
