Who being upon Oath sayth that first this
Informant Sarah Williams< no role >
for herself saith
That as she was coming along Mortimer Street
in the Parish aforesaid
and at the Crossing (or point) of Edward [..] Mortimer< no role >
Streets about Eleven
o'Clock at Night on Wednesday Night the Second of December last
1772 She saw Several Men Standing Close to Lady Oxford's Rails, and on
this Informants passing by them She heard them discoursing Quilty
together, And she (being on her way home to Hanley Street) found that
Two of the said Men followed her, And this Informant upon her Oath
saith (She being personally present with a Man now before me the
said Justice Who calls himself John Redford< no role >
that He the said John

did feloniously Assault her on the Kings Highway in the said
Parish of Saint Mary le bone
in the County of Middx on Wednesday Night
the Second of December last 1772 about Eleven o' Clock, And did then
and there put her the said Informant in great bodily fear and danger
of her Life by presenting a Pistol and thrusting the same against her
Head, and with many blasphemous Oaths Imprecations and Menaces
Demanded the Money of this Informant, And did Actually then and
there feloniously Rob her of a black Silk Cardinal Lined with white
Silk Shag, And a Black Silk Bonnett< no role >
now produce a Green and Silver Purse
and one Guinea contained therein, And a Red and White Pockett
Handkerchief the Goods and property of the said Sarah Williams< no role >
this Informant. And which [..] black Silk Cardinal and black
Silk Bonnett (being now produced) the said Informant declares
the same to be her property.
