The Information of David Roche< no role >
Esqr . taken before me this 13th.
day of January 1773.

Who being upon Oath says that on Monday Night last about ½
past 11 o'Clock two persons now present who call themselves John
Procter< no role > and William Godlington< no role > unlawfully and maliciously
assaulted him in the King Highway at Chelsea with a certain
offensive Weapon called Pistol with a felonious Intent
to rob him, and that on this Informant making Resistance
the Said John Proctor< no role > did feloniously wilfully and
maliciously shoot at this Informant
