The Information of Wm. Howard< no role >
a Fanner living in the Hamlet of
Pinner in the parish of Harrow
in the County of Middlesex
taken upon Oath this 16th. Day
of May 1772 before Us two of his
Majesty's Justice of the Peace
for the said County City and Liberty

Who being upon Oath Declareth & saith
that in the Night time of the Sixth of October
last past 1771 his Outhouse was Broke
Open by the Bricks of the Wall being taken
out and the Door Unhasped and twelve Geese
being his Goods and property were Feloniously
Stolen there in and taken & Carried away therefore
this Informant further saith that having
some Suspicion of One Joseph Lilly< no role > who
workes with this Informant at that time as
a Day Labourer. heprodced a Warrantapprehend
the said Joseph Lilly< no role > but before he could take
him to any Magistrate the said Joseph Lilly< no role >
made his escapee by Jumping out of a One pair
of Stairs Window and could never meet with
him untill Wednesday last when seeing him
by Accident on this Informants our Grounds
he apprehended him again and took him before
a Neighbouring Magistrate where this Informant
heard the said Joseph Lilly< no role > Acknowledge &
confess that he together with One James
Horton
< no role > and One Isaac did Break Open the
said Outhouse belonging to this Informant
at the time aforesaid and that they all three
together did take and Carry away twelve
Geese the property of this Informant in the
said Out house Whereupon the said Joseph
Lilly
< no role > was Committed by the said Magistrate
to New prison Clerkenwell where he now is
And this Informant further saith that from
the Account given by the said Joseph Lilly< no role >
