The Information of Andrew Grant< no role >
taken before me this 6th day of
May 1772

Who being upon Oath says that on Sunday Evening the 26th. of
April last Mr. John Fordyce< no role > Mr. Patrick Heron< no role > and this
Informant were coming in a Chariot from Islington
towards Tottenham Court Road , that near the Bottom of
Grays Inn Lane they were stopped by three or more Footpads
who robbed the said Mr. Fordyce of a Gold Watch and robbed this
Informant of another Gold Watch and the said Mr. Heron of
a Pistol and further says that he does verily believe
a Gold Watch now produced to be the same Gold Watch
of which the said Mr. Fordyce< no role > was robbed as aforesaid
