And that the person who was in Company with Charles Green< no role > is a Person now
out of place who was Groom to a Mr Gulston in Bond Street , And All the
persons with whom this Informant Francis Winnan hath hitherto
corresponded with upon this Affair (who know the said late Groom) declare
themselves Sorry for his being so intimate with the said Charles Green< no role >
And that the said person whom Charles Green< no role > had declared to be the
Coachman out of place who struck him in the mouth, is a person
of good Character, living now in a very respectable & Creditable Service
and who had not Seen the said Charles Green< no role > for above a Twelve month
last past. And this Informant Francis Winnan upon his now
said Oath declares that he verily beleives and strongly suspects
that the said Charles Green< no role > did feloniously Steal, take,
and carry away the said Horse, Bridle, and Saddle already
herein before described, being the property of him the said
John Shearwood< no role > ; And further that he the said Charles
Green
< no role > did feloniously and Burglariously break &
Enter in the Night of Tuesday the 10th Inst Decemr 1771
the said Stable, from which he stole the said Horse
together with the said Saddle and Bridle
