Middx to wit

The Information of Daniel Waterland< no role > of the parish of Saint
Dunstans Stebonheath alias Stepney in the County of Middx
Cabinet maker taken before me David Wilmot< no role > Esqr . one of his
Majestys Justices of the peace acting in and for the said County
this 13th. day of day December 1771

This Informant on his Oath saith that on Monday the ninth
day of December Instant as he was coming Home from
Ratcliff highway towards his Lodging at Mile End Road about
the hour of twelve o'Clock at Night at the posts going into
Stepney Church Yard near to White Horse Street he saw three men
who cryed Hello' Hello' and immediately this Informant was
knocked down and then one of the three men said to this
Informant damn you, hold your peace, the other two was then
rifling his pockets while one of them which this Informant
saith is Edward Collyer< no role > which is now present stampt upon him in seven
parts of his Body and face and cruised him in a terrible manner
and William Skinner< no role > which is also present and the other person
which is not yet taken took out of his Breeches pocket about
six Shillings and Six pence in Silver and out of his Waistcoat
pockets about fifteen pence in Copper half pence
