The Information of Benjamin Hall< no role >
of Broad Street Ratcliff Cross in the Hamlet
of Ratcliff in the said County taken before
me one of his a Majestys Justices of the Peace
in and for the said County

Who being upon his Oath Saith about a Quarter of an
Hour ago a Man Now Present who calls himself Samuel
Bar [..] ton with two Others came into this Informants Shop
and told his Boy that the Fire which happened last Night
in that Neighbourhood had broke out a fresh, and at the
Same time the said Barton bought a Pennyworth of
Cheese and immediately After they went out of his Shop
this Informant found that a Cheese was taken away
which lay upon his Shop Window at the time they came
in this Informant instantly Pursued them and took
the said Barnton but the other two Escaped and this
Informant further Saith that he suspect and verily
believes that the said Samuel Barnton< no role > and the Other
two Persons not yet taken were all Concerned in
feloniously taking and Carrying away the said Cheese
