AN INQUISITION indented, taken for our Sovereign LORD the KING, at the House of
Richard Talbot< no role > the Sign of the Red Lion Bedford Street
Bedford Row in the Parish of Saint Andrew Holborn in the County of
Middlesex , the Twenty seventh Day of November in the Fortieth Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign LORD GEORGE the Third , by the Grace of GOD of Great-Britain, France
and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and so forth, before George Hodgson< no role > Gent
one of the CORONERS of our said LORD the KING, for the said County, on View of the Body of
James Dyekes< no role > then and there lying dead, upon the Oath of
the several Persons whose Names are hereunder-written and Seals affixed, good and lawful
Men of the said County, duly chosen, and who being then and there duly sworn and
charged to inquire, for our said LORD the KING, when, how, and by what Means, the said
James Dyekes< no role > came to his
Death, do, upon their Oath, say, That the said James Dyekes< no role > on the
twenty sixth Day of November in the Year aforesaid
at the Parish and in the County aforesaid died by
the Visitation of God and not otherwise

IN WITNESS whereof, as well the said CORONER asthe said John Spencer< no role >
the Foreman of the said Jurors, and the Rest of his said Fellows, have, to this Inquisition set
their Hands and Seals, the Day, Year, and Place first above-written.
