AN INQUISITION indented, taken for our Sovereign LORD the KING, at the House of
Richard Aldridge< no role > the Sign of the Feathers Old Brentford in the
Parish of Ealing in the County of
Middlesex , the Sixteenth Day of November in the Thirty ninth Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign LORD GEORGE the Third , by the Grace of GOD of Great-Britain, France
and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and so forth, before George Hodgson< no role > Gent
one of the CORONERS of our said LORD the KING, for the said County, on View of the Body of
Robert House< no role > then and there lying dead, upon the Oath of
the several Persons whose Names are hereunder-written and Seals affixed, good and lawful
Men of the said County, duly chosen, and who being then and there duly sworn and
charged to inquire, for our said LORD the KING, when, how, and by what Means, the said
Robert House< no role > came to his
Death, do, upon their Oath, say, That the said Robert House< no role > in the fourteenth
Day of November in the Year aforesaid at the Parish and on the
County aforesaid riding by the Edge of the Grand Junction Fanal
there it so happened that he fell into the said Canal by Means
whereof he was drowned in the Waters thereof And so the
Jurors aforesaid do say that the said Robert House< no role > in Manner
and by the Means aforesaid accidentally came to his
Death and not otherwise

IN WITNESS whereof, as well the said CORONER asthe said John Welladvice
the Foreman of the said Jurors, and the Rest of his said Fellows, have, to this Inquisition set
their Hands and Seals, the Day, Year, and Place first above-written.
