AN INQUISITION indented, taken for our Sovereign LORD the KING, at the Workhouse
Situate in Cleve land Street in the Parish of Saint Pancras
in the County of
Middlesex , the Twenty fourth Day of October in the Thirty ninth Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign LORD GEORGE the Third , by the Grace of GOD of Great-Britain, France
and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and so forth, before George Hodgson< no role > Gent
one of the CORONERS of our said LORD the KING, for the said County, on View of the Body of
Christopher Saunders< no role > then and there lying dead, upon the Oath of
the several Persons whose Names are hereunder-written and Seals affixed, good and lawful
Men of the said County, duly chosen, and who being then and there duly sworn and
charged to inquire, for our said LORD the KING, when, how, and by what Means, the said
Christopher Saunders< no role > came to his Death
Death, do, upon their Oath say, That the said Christopher Saunders< no role > on the
twenty third Day of October in the Year aforesaid at the Parish and
in the County aforesaid accidentally came to his Death by falling
down Stairs

IN WITNESS whereof, as well the said CORONERas the said William Curtis< no role >
the Foreman of the said Jurors, and the Rest of his said Fellows, have, to this Inquisition set
their Hands and Seals, the Day, Year, and Place first above-written.
