who being now here duly chosen sworn and charged to inquire for our said
Lord the King when how and in what manner the said

came to his
death say upon their oath that the said

on the thirty first day of December
in the year aforesaid accidentally casually and by misfortune fell into the River of
Thomas there situate and in and with the Waters of the said river was then and
there suffocated and drowned of which said suffocation and drowning the said John
Strickland did then and there die.And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their oath
aforesaid do say that the said
