Informations of Witnesses taken at the
Parish of Saint Andrew Hubbard in the
Ward of Billingsgate in London the 22nd. day
of June 1790 on view of the body of John
Jackson
< no role > then and there lying dead.

Edmond Norton< no role > of No. 2 Cock lane Bethnal Green Middx
Bricklayer maketh oath that yesterday afternoon Dept and the
deced and a labourer were at Work together upon a Scaffold before
Mr. Monte [..] house in Philpot lane in the Parish of Saint Andrew
Hubbard says that as the deced was turning round to dip something
he was at work with in a pail of Water he tripped his pot against
aboard that was laying upon the Scaffold and fell backwards into
the Street. That Dept seeing him trip endeavoured to catch told of him
but was [..] able. [..] Dept. saw him afterwards & says that both his
Thighs won broken & he was otherwise much hurt and died
immediately.
