Information of Witnesses taken at the parish of Allhallows
the less in the Ward of Dowgate in London
the 7th. day of August 1789 on view of the
body of Edward Earle< no role > then and there lying
dead.

William Berry< no role > of Lower Watergate Deptford Waterman
maketh oath that last Weds. eve. Dept. being in his boat on
the Thames near Coal Arbor his son who we truth him sayed
he was a persons hand [..] Whereupon Dept looked about & saw the
deceds hand above the Water in the Riverthat Dept took him
up, Carried him on there & immedy. were for assistance to recover
the deced & attempts were made but they proved ineffectual.
