had sayed the should sleep in [..] her Father bed for that there
was women in the furniture of her own bed and which she complained of the day before says where she
went up Stairs she left her young Master below who sayed he
would go & look at some nightmen who were emptying a privy
in the Cellar & would then go to bed, and while Dept was with her
young Mistress she heard him as she apprehended go up stairs
to his own room which is to upwards on the first floor, and heard
him shut the door, says that after two in the morning Depts was
awoke by Miss Tyler's knocking at the door of the Garrett wherein
Dept slept with Mary Lowdell< no role > her fellow several, & she sayed Betty
let me in which Dept did and he seemed much a learned and in a
minute or two having recovered herself, she asked Dept and her
fellow servant of they had heard any noise, they answered No, the
sayed the had heard a great noise which at first she that was the
nightmen but afterwards she heard a musquel go off in the next
room to her meaning the back room of the two pair of stairs, and
the was same somebody was there shot for she smelled Gun Powder
and they should soon know who it was if the boys would sd. down the
was sure somebody was killed there whereupon Many ten dell her
fellows servant went down to see what was the matter and she
afterwards returned and called the two first Witnesses who together
with Mary Lowdell< no role > , went down to the second floor. they afterwards
returned, and the two first Witnesses sayed Edis was there dead
Dept says Miss Tyler when she came up to Dept he about senr if
her Cloathes on. That she did not see her young Master after she had left down stairs the process of night as before stated nor has
she seen him since.

all the servants in the house expect Thomas Flowers< no role > and Eliz.

desired the inside Cellar door might be left open for he would go & see
